Crispy Spiced Cauliflower Wings with Mint Yoghurt Dip

  • 1/2 cauliflower about 350g
  • 4 tbsp cornflour
  • 4 tbsp gram flour
  • 2 tbsp medium curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 100 ml unsweetened plant milk

For the yoghurt dip

  • 4 tbsp vegan coconut yoghurt or any yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh herbs I used coriander and mint
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • Pinch of salt


  • Chop the cauliflower into chunks.
  • Add the milk to a shallow bowl. In another shallow bowl, whisk together the gram flour, corn flour, salt, curry powder and a pinch of black pepper.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 200°C.
  • Dip the cauliflower chunks in the milk and then into the flour mix. Toss until it’s fully coated and gently shake off any excess flour. Repeat with all of the cauliflower chunks.
  • Once coated, brush any visibly “floury” parts of the cauliflower with a bit of the remaining milk.
  • Carefully place the cauliflower chunks into the air fryer and fry for 15-20 minutes until crispy and golden.
  • Meanwhile, mix the yoghurt, herbs, salt and lime juice together in a small bowl. Serve and enjoy!
